Our team has a long and career of pursuing cutting-edge technology for the solar PV space.  We value quality and reliability and strive to make resilient electrical infrastructure with a focus on cost.  Our expertise has been in structural design of solar racking/trackers, module frames, bolted-joint connections and extreme weather resiliency guidance.  Those experiences have led us to develop a technology toolbox for increasing solar resiliency.

Our Story

For 18 years our team has traveled the world in pursuit of solar PV cost reductions, product innovations and resiliency measures.  We started at SunEdison, a large PV project developer, creating industry-leading racking technology and governing the technical qualifications of the Global AVL.  Our journey led us to consulting, performing root cause analysis on failed systems and guiding clients on technology decisions.  Part of that work was in the Caribbean post hurricanes Irma, Maria, Dorian & Beryl where we examined failure modes exposed by some of natures most vicious storms.  Our guidance was captured in industry-leading thought leadership white papers such as Solar Under Storm 1 (Irma & Maria), Solar Under Storm 2 (Dorian) and Solar Under Storm 3 (Beryl).

Our products are designed with the people of the Caribbean in mind in the hopes that someday they come out of their homes after a hurricane and find their islands ability to self-produce power completely in-tact.  They deserve it, not just because they're human with intrinsic value (although that should be enough) but because they paid for it.  They paid for a resilient solar PV system designed for the intricoes of their environment in-mind and unless we product products to deliver it, they sometimes don't get it.
